Elvis Presley – Behind The Gates Of Graceland (documentary)
Very singular documentary substantially from a early eighties. An inside demeanour upon Elvis’s home Gracland. Tour-guide have been a immature Jerry Schilling as well as Joe Esposito. This footage is accessible upon a 2-Disc Special Edition of “This Is Elvis”.

Elvis has his right to the Reign of the King Of Rock And Roll…Michael Jackson earned his right to Reign as the King Of Pop. They Are BOTH Kings in their own right. Dont disrespect someones stature when you cant dispute it by a 1000 miles thank you. and theres no way on Gods green Earth you can dispute they are BOTH Kings of MUSIC they certainly both were.
What I find is sad is these days ppl are very arrogant. What I mean is im 23 and I do listen 2 metal etc but nothing is soothing as ELVIS and all my friends are so locked into social chains that they will not give me 5 min 2 show them THE KING, instead they laugh which is when I remind them I can and will kick there ass. R.I.P ELVIS WISH YOU WERE STILL HERE!
@Custhydo mj loses that war if i had to chose someone to see in concert between elvis and micheal jackson i would have went with elvis not mj i like elvis muisic better anyway
@ytownteddy i totally agree priscilla did a great job with elviss things. i am glad she took such good care of his this. otherwise elvis things would never have been seen by his fans today
@Darrell9029 they were elvis true friends why would you say that joe and jerry were always there for elvis and now they are keeping his memory alive if they were not true friends then they would not have bothered. so that is sick to say
Sad to see this video presented by a couple of Priscilla arse lickers, where is Elvis’s only true friend in this video, his cousin and the incredibly humble and wonderful Billy Smith
What a mark this man made on the world, Just think, he was born in 1935 and then became famous in 1955-56. He died in 1977 only 21 years and yet he still mesmerizes the world today. Elvis did so many generous wonderful things. He loved Priscilla and Lisa Marie. We are thankful for his gospel side. When the Lord saw him suffering he took him unto himself. Rest in peace now Elvis and now you are singing for the King of Kings.
Elvis The Great — known the world over by just his first name. His 33 movies and documentaries are shown on television every year. Loved by women of all ages. Admired my men of all walks of life. Was a poor boy from a poor family and who, because of his great talents and kindness became to be the greatest entertainer in the History Of Man. Elvis wears a CAPE like Superman … how appropriate… he IS a superman.
just returned from Graceland and yes it is the “place a Fan should be during Elvis Birthday Celebration”.I had the Luck to get a cheap flight and a great Hotel just 8 min, from Graceland, which was cool.Cilla ,Lisa,Reilley and Ben had been there too.Cilla did a great Job in preserving Graceland no question about that.
I mean, it just seems like after he died people just sort of looked around and said, “what are we gonna do with all this stuff?”. I know the fans probably wish things were more like this video shows, where everything wasn’t under glass. But really, it has to be that way to preserve it all. To just have his jumpsuits hanging without being covered is a crime in itself. But I guess his buddies and family didn’t know any better, or have the money to do anything about it. Great video, thanks.
All I can say after seeing this is thank goodness Priscilla got on top of things and changed how they kept his stuff at Graceland. Yeah, some things are different building-wise now (it was cool to just see the plain racquetball court as it was), but had his outfits just stayed hanging on a wooden rack and his automobiles and bikes been that accessible then things would’ve eventually been rotted, rusted, and ruined. Imagine trying to take that pink Caddy out into the grass now…..gheez!
